Currumbin Dawn Service & 10km Community Run

Currumbin Dawn Service & 10km Community Run

This ANZAC Day, Better Bloke invites you to join us at Currumbin's Dawn Service at Elephant Rock, Friday, April 25th.

The service will begin at 5:00am sharp, so please allow time to park and walk in beforehand.

ANZAC Day is a time for all Aussies to pause, reflect, and honour the sacrifices made by our servicemen and women - past and present. It’s a day that reminds us of the power of mateship, resilience, and community, and the values we carry forward in what we do at Better Bloke.

Following the ceremony, we invite anyone who’s keen to join Nathan Schmid for a 10km community run, supporting his Daily Grind Challenge (30 triathlons in 30 days) as he takes on day 25!

  • Route: Currumbin to Coolangatta and back
  • Pace: Relaxed, all welcome. No registration or donations needed, just show up and support.
  • Footwear: Runners recommended, but no race gear needed.

Nathan’s effort is all about raising awareness for suicide prevention — a cause at the heart of Better Bloke’s mission:

We’re here to Fk Off suicide as the leading cause of death for Aussie men by driving community, strength, and support that actually resonates – tackling the issue in a way it’s never been done before.

Whether you’re there for the service, the run, or just to cheer Nathan on — your presence matters.

Come stand with us. Walk with us. Run with us.

Let’s honour the past and fight for the future, together.
