#133: Connor M Greene: Understanding ADHD, Parenting and Neurodivergence
Share
Episode 133 is a conversation with Connor M Greene, best known for his work as an ADHD advocate, mentor and educator.
Connor did not enter this space because it sounded interesting or because he stumbled into it. His work is grounded in lived experience. Growing up with neurodivergent tendencies and feeling like he was never properly understood or supported as a child and teenager gave him a perspective that cannot come from education alone.
We talk about Connor’s own experiences, what led him to this work and how he now combines lived experience with education to support children, teenagers and their families from a different angle.
The conversation also turns to parenting. We unpack the strong genetic link associated with ADHD and what that can reveal about our children, ourselves and those lifelong feelings of being undiagnosed but fairly certain something has always been there.
But this episode goes well beyond ADHD and parenting. Connor opens up about the bloke behind the work, including his hobbies, passions and what is coming next for him.
We also discuss how parents can connect with Connor if they believe his experience and approach could help them better understand and support their kids.
An honest conversation about ADHD, neurodivergence, parenting, lived experience and turning the support you never received into something that can help the next generation.
